Fish Fest began back in the spring of 2005. The directors at the time, Cassy Garcia and Greg Fink, saw a need to unite the Freshman class with their own tradition, and planned an evening of free food and music followed by a movie. It was held in Spence Park behind the Association.
Fish Fest is the official freshman class event. It is a time for the freshman class to participate in free activities such as free food, games, and live bands. This event strives to unite the class and transition them into their sophomore year and onwards.
